Right on the Barrack St Jetty courtyard, you will find a beautiful venue called Bells Functions. Nestled in right up to the water, this place is a beautiful open area on the second floor that overlooks the beautiful Swan River. With stunning views of both the river, the Bell Tower and the city, Bells Functions is the perfect place to take in the ambience of a modern, city wedding reception. As the sun goes down the lights come out and it is a kaleidoscope of colour.
Suiting either a sit-down or cocktail style wedding, Bells oozes city life. With a verandah that stretches almost all the way around the function room in a semi-circle, it’s design is unique, slightly rustic and classy. With a lot of glass surrounding the function room itself, the whole area can be seen at once and feels very modern.
The staff are very professional and classy. Kylie is the manager, she is a bundle of joy and always happy. She will coordinate with you from the first phone call, right up until the big day. She is very professional, experienced and reliable.
My personal opinion of this place is that it suits a cocktail style reception more than a sit down due to the fact that the room is slightly limited given the semi-circle design. But with a cocktail style reception, people can utilize the verandah as well as the room which would accommodate more people. In fact, up to 220 guests can be accommodated here. It’s a great design and with Elizabeth Quays right next door, this is a cultural bonanza in the heart of the city. For their website check out Bells Functions or their facebook page Bells on Facebook
I love playing here, mainly because of the friendly manager but there’s also a great shiny dance floor that they use. So please consider when looking for your wedding music, myself, Tod Woodward. The Dinner Singer. I have many years experience and am a very assiduous professional.
